It seems that the Taiwanese paparazzi's infatuation with Scarlett Johansson might derail several scenes of her upcoming movie “Lucy”. According to an Oct. 29 story by the Hollywood Reporter, the paparazzi have been aggressively swarming the film crew. In fact, things have escalated to the point where Taipei Mayor Hau Lung-bin has even issued a statement.
In his statement, the mayor urged press members to respect the preplanned coverage arrangements. However, given the aggressive actions of the press members, it seems unlikely that the mayor’s urging will have much impact.
According to the reports, the paparazzi have been harassing the project since Scarlett Johansson and the rest of the cast arrived last week. In fact, several of these clashes have been near disasters. At one point, members of the film crew were nearly mowed down by a car. Needless to say, these disruptions have angered the film’s director, Luc Besson, and he is currently rethinking his plans of shooting on site in the exotic Taiwanese city.
This might cause Johansson to breathe a sigh of relief. Not surprisingly, the paparazzi have aggressively been hounding the sexy starlet since she arrived in the city. However, things escalated when she was accosted by photographers while she was changing in a car between scenes. It is suspected that the photographer was attempting to get a picture of Scarlett Johansson’s famous boobs while she changed.
It is not surprising that the A-lister has attracted the attention of the unruly Taiwanese paparazzi. However, the city’s inability to control the situation may cause the film to relocate the rest of its filming, and it is suspected that this may alter the plans of other directors contemplating filming in the exotic city.
“Lucy” stars Scarlett Johansson who plays the role of a forced drug runner that develops superpowers after accidentally coming in contact with a mysterious substance. The film is schedule to be release in 2014..
