Is Scarlett Johansson engaged? According to a Feb. 20 PEOPLE report, Johansson is not engaged to her French journalist boyfriend Romain Dauriac.
PEOPLE reports that after the 28-year-old “Hitchcock” star was spotted rocking a pear-shaped diamond ring in New York City this week, rumors swirled that Johansson and Dauriac were planning a romantic trip down the aisle.
A rep for the actress told PEOPLE, “Scarlett is absolutely not engaged.” Johansson, who was previously married to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds has said she is in no rush to marry again, telling ELLE UK that marriage is “really not important” to her.
“The only time I ever think about it is when people ask me, ‘Would I get married again?’” she said at the time. She may not plan on marrying anytime soon, but Ryan Reynolds ex-wife recalls sweet memories of their two-year union. “I got married when I was young and it was incredibly romantic and I liked being married, actually. But it is different. It's hard to put into words.”
