Actress Scarlett Johansson is again fretting to the media to stop spreading lies about her weight loss.
For the November mag of Glamour, Johansson says the rumor frenzy over her 14-pound weight loss is a lie and the guesses over her weight have missed the mark.
"There was this rumor mill cranking out stories that I had lost 14 pounds -- I could never lose 14 pounds," blonde bombshell Johansson said in the interview. "I hate seeing these ridiculous articles where [tabloids] guess someone's weight."
Back in April, the 25-year-old Iron Man 2 "Black Widow" star told the Huffington Post that there is no superhero workout causing the star to lose drastic weight. She wrote her rebuttal on the Post's site.
"Claims have been made that I’ve been on a strict workout routine regulated by co-stars, whipped into shape by trainers I’ve never met, eating sprouted grains I can’t pronounce and ultimately losing 14 pounds off my 5’3” frame," the sassy star writes. "I’m a petite person to begin with, so the idea of my losing this amount of weight is utter lunacy. If I were to lose 14 pounds, I’d have to part with both arms. And a foot."
The sarcasm has turned into heated blasts against the media as Scarlett defends her reputation and her frame.
"I can't look at somebody who is 6 feet tall and 120 pounds and say, I'm going to get that body. That's just never going to happen," she candidly confesses."You have to work with what you've got."
And she does. Recent rebuttals of weight loss speculation shouldn't mislead. Scarlett is no slacker when it comes to fitness. The star admits to working out hard to fit into the Lycra suit for her new Iron Man 2 role and staying on top of healthy eatings helps.
Just this week, Scarlett and hubby Ryan Reynolds were spotted en route to a Manhattan gym in New York City. After recently celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary, the couple is keeping up the workouts where ever the work shall take them.
Husband Ryan is in the Big Apple taking on his duties as host for the upcoming run of Saturday Night Live this week. While he attempts to tackle Megan Fox's big debut for the SNL season premiere, wife Scarlett is reveling in the release of her music video "Relator".
