Update 3/6/14: This puppy is safe!

An adorable, chow mix puppy has been surrendered to the animal control facility in Odessa, Texas.

The pup, name unknown looks lost and forlorn in her concrete kennel run, which is identified as Kennel A35.

Little is known about the puppy - not her age, or her personality, or even her identification number - the animal control website has no information about the animals who are impounded at the facility.

All that is known is that she was surrendered and she is currently available for adoption - it is readily apparent that she needs to be in a home, and not sitting alone in a concrete cell.

Adoption fee: $35-51
