Actor Columbus Short, who plays Harrison Wright on the hit ABC drama series "Scandal", may be in some hot water following his involvement in a bar fight in Los Angeles. As TMZ reports on March 25, cops are now conducting a criminal investigation after the other guys involved in the fight ended up in the hospital.

According to law enforcement sources, Short was enjoying a night out at Gabe's Bar and Grill in L.A. on March 15. While celebrating a couple's engagement, the "Scandal" actor got involved in a verbal confrontation with a 37-year-old man. The guy reportedly insulted Short saying, "You might be richer than me but I get my girls to buy me everything I want including your wife."

An eyewitness present that night told TMZ that Short then preceded to sucker punch the man leaving him unconscious. Shortly after the man was taken to the hospital and Short left the bar quickly after. The incident is now being investigated as criminal battery. So far Short has not commented on the incident.

The altercation was not the first time Columbus Short has let his temper get the best of him in public. The actor reportedly knocked out a guy's teeth back in march 2010 during a basketball game at L.A. Fitness.

If acting doesn't work out for Short, maybe he can try his hand at boxing.
