'Scandal' spoilers: Details on Olivia's new man revealed

"Scandal" will air an all-new episode on Channel 15 in Tempe tomorrow night. On Tuesday, Feb. 19, both Entertainment Tonight and TV Line shared new comments made Scott Foley about his new character on the series. A new man has entered Olivia Pope's life, and he is very complicated. When she first met him, he was just any man. However, he featured in her next case, and then the last few moment of the last episode showed that he was spying on her through the use of a camera in her home. He watched as she called him for a date. Scott Foley revealed to TV Line that this week's episode will show that date, and his character is very 'smitten' with Olivia, but she is not letting herself relax. The actor also revealed the following:

"Even though he’s watching her, I can tell you that someone has hired him to keep an eye on her and find out more about her. He’s not doing this of his own volition. But I think he’s crossing some lines by acting out and getting away from the monitors and bumping into her on purpose and meeting her one-on-one."

There is more surprises to come as the series continues with this story arc, and Foley teased that in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. He said the following about the next two episodes:

"I saw he'd been watching her ... let me just tell you, when we did that scene at the table read, everyone on the cast and crew began to shout, 'oooooooh!' It was amazing and I was excited to be part of one of those great 'What the hell was that?' moments. And there are a bunch of those 'Oh my God' moments coming up in the next two episodes I've filmed."

Shonda Rhimes is the woman behind this series, and this is not the first time she has worked with Scott Foley. He had a role on "Grey's Anatomy" on ABC, but his character died last season. She called him to work with her again on "Scandal" over the holidays, according to Foley.

Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:

Shonda needs to put a stupid people advisory on #Scandal something like "Intelligence and adult Discretion is advised" #NotForSimpleMinds

"Scandal" will continue to air on Channel 15 in Tempe on Thursday nights.
