Scandal showtime moves up an hour in Season 4

Before joining in the #ScandalThursdays Twitter conversations, make sure to double check TIVOs and DVRs prior to Season 4's first airing on Sept. 25. The new season is moving up an hour from 9 p.m. CT to 8 p.m. CT.

For TV enthusiasts wondering what they'll do with the original hour of "Scandal," check out Shonda Rhimes' new show "How to Get Away With Murder" starring Oscar-nominated actress Viola Davis.

Both shows will air on ABC.

In a recent interview with talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, he asked lead actress Kerry Washington if the new time would eliminate some of the more risque scenes in an otherwise shock-worthy season of the suspenseful TV show.

"Rumor has it that Shonda said she'll only do the move if we can keep all the sexy stuff at a [9 p.m.] level at the [8 o'clock] hour," Washington told Kimmel.

Judging from her response, the murder, mayhem and other scandalous behavior will continue as usual. How many episodes do you think it'll take before Olivia Pope changes her mind about a peaceful life without Fitz and an "on" again relationship with Jake? Will she even last past the plane ride?
