The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals heard the challenge to Arizona's SB1070 in San Francisco, the day before the election.
While the legal arguments were being made and heard inside, another skirmish in the culture war was being engaged outside the courthouse.
The Golden Gate Minutemen arrived in the darkness of the predawn and took up positions on 7th Street in front of the Court House. Patriots Ray Herrera and Robin Hvidston arrived from Southern California after an all night drive.
Satellite trucks and news vans lined Mission Street and Arizona State Sen. Russell Pearce, author of SB 1070, was there early and did several interviews.
The suits began lining up to enter the courthouse about 7:45 AM and the doors opened at 8:00, the hearing scheduled to begin at 9:00.
About 8:45 the scouts for the open border anarchists arrived, checking out the scene. The mob was leaving a local church and marching to the courthouse. They clattered in to the sound of drums like a low-class carnival (see the video). Early on you hear one of them proclaim sarcastically, “We love racists!” She repeated it to get a reaction, and got one. You can hear a voice suggesting that she can...well…what she can do with her sanctimony.
The San Francisco Police made no attempt to keep the groups separated and an altercation seemed inevitable. Eventually the circus moved up on the steps in front of the Courthouse door to deliver a sanctimonious screed. The patriots were outnumbered probably 5 to 1, but nobody gave up any ground. Patriots moved up the steps with their SB 1070 support signs and into the crowd surrounding the priest who was speaking.
Two confrontations took place that I know about. One of the anarchists (a Hispanic man) grabbed and shoved Ray Herrera (a Hispanic man) in an incident witnessed by the police. Ray told the police he would file charges, but was informed that some woman had just told them that Ray had hit her. The police officer was explaining that if Ray wanted to file charges that he could expect someone to ask the police to charge Ray with assault. Since I speak police-ese I translated it for Ray: "If you ask the police to arrest this guy, (who was by then sitting on the ground and bracketed by officers) they will lie through their teeth about you." Ray wisely let it go.
At 7 minutes on the video you will hear the story of a patriot from Benicia, CA who had her sign ripped out of her hand and was slightly injured. Her indignation, however, is that after the Federal Police in front of the Courthouse told the anarchists they had to leave, they ordered her away, also. “Yes,” I consoled her, “The double standard is in full effect.”
Then the anarchists moved from the Courthouse steps out into 7th Street, blocking traffic as they continued to celebrate their “diversity.” Just another minor inconvenience to San Francisco commuters, but the police didn’t try to stop them.
As they vacated the front of the Courthouse I noticed that there was a lot of garbage on the ground that wasn’t there before they showed up; coffee cups, placards, other refuse. We were there for an hour and a half before they were and the street and sidewalk were as clean as when we arrived. As the anarchists began to fade away, the street in front of the courthouse was similarly soiled. It was reminiscent of the difference between the Glenn Beck rally in Washington, DC where hundreds of thousands of patriots left the mall spotless and the union leftist's One Nation Rally who trashed the nation’s capitol.
I began to point this out, loudly, as I moved about the “diverse” crowd. Other patriots also began to chide the anarchists pointing out all the trash they left behind. “Typical disrespect” and “pigs” and other not un-profane descriptive shaming terms were used.
Eventually I noticed a lone young man (wearing a T-shirt with a slogan indicating that he was particularly misguided) policing up the area—to his credit. He picked up most if not all of the trash that his comrades left behind and that was satisfying because it signified that we are making some headway, if only one slob at a time.
The Arizona Bite Me flag was a hit. The marchers were greeted by it when they arrived and it was also used as a silent response when they got particularly obnoxious. I recommend it.
As of the time of this report I have received no individual accounts of any damage to patriots from being in such close proximity to pro-amnesty sanctimony. There continue to be reports of damage to the country, however. And my concern is that just like radiation, this damage is cumulative.
Thanks to all who had the courage to turn out early on a Monday morning.
We await the decision of the court.

This is why we are fighting hard against the Anarchists, aka Trespassing Hordes

Another accurate unemotional report of the crazies in action. I am 77 and have seen a world of humanity travel past my eyes. I am constantly surprised that today the hordes look like they just slithered out of bed, and wearing the clothes they slept in, wander out to greet a day they will forever be surprised to find, LOOKING like they just got out of bed, acting like they haven't yet awakened. WHO are THESE PEOPLE???
LOL, they are a product of a society so abundant that even the pretense of being serious has been abandoned. Thanks, Iris.
Good report Rick. The Government needs to deal with these problems instead of hiding from them. Seems simple to me, but then I don't have an agenda to maintain or favors to pay back.
Great Report Rick - Law abiding citizens have a hard time understanding how a group of carnival idiots are trying to push our government around.
Your pictures also told an endearing story. Especially the "Immigrant Mother". She must have been the woman Rick James sang about "The kind ya don't take home to mother". Yet another shining example of what we don't want in America.
Wish I could have been there to support our cause.
