Sawgrass Mills will job fair on July 24

People who are looking for a retail job may want to visit the Sawgrass Mills Outlet job fair from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be many of new full and part-time retail jobs available at businesses including Calvin Klein, Gap Outlet, Levi's, Nike Factory Store and Old Navy Outlet and the job fair will take place in the Fashion Row between Calvin Klein and Forever 21 as Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, according to an article by Marcia Heroux Pounds in the July 22 Sun Sentinel.

"I really glad this job fair will coming up and I will apply for some of the jobs. I need a new job and I have always enjoyed working in retail," said Mindy Bradshaw.

"It is good that there will be plenty of job openings but I don't think these are the kinds of jobs that help the economy and people who are trying to get ahead. These jobs don't really pay much and they offer little advancement. But may some people will get a start in one of these jobs," said Thomas Ochoa.

"There are people who may not really like the idea of retail but they offer opportunities for work and if people do well, they can get into management. And retail management jobs can pay well and led to higher level positions," said Jackie Simmons.

"I will be going to the job fair. I am looking for a better position and I would like to work at the Sawgrass Mills Outlet. It is a great place to be," said Julia Appleton.

"It is good to hear that so many companies are hiring. This means that more people are getting back to work and this means more money in the economy," said Jennifer Gonzalez.
