'Savour the Slopes' series begins Friday at Keystone Resort restaurants

Colorado’s Keystone Resort plans on Friday to start “Savour the Slopes,” a 24-day après-ski showcase of food and drink at the resort’s restaurants. Each day features one or two unique tasting events starting at 4:30 p.m. for $20 per person.

The first week of the culinary celebration is devoted to food, the second week to wine, and the third week to beer and spirits. Each event has limited space with most capacities ranging from 25 to 40 people. The series kicks off with a seafood tasting menu at Alpenglow Stube, located at the top of North Peak.

One event for families is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 20. With parental supervision, children ages 6 to 12 can participate in a “Cooking with Kids” session at Edgewater Cafe in Lakeside Village. The event is limited to 12 children.

Along with Alpenglow Stube and Edgewater Cafe, the participating bars and restaurants include Der Fondue Chessel, The Keystone Ranch, Black Bear Grill, The Ski Tip Lodge. 9280’ Taphouse, Bighorn Steakhouse, and Last Lift Bar.
