I do not know anyone who actually enjoys doing laundry. It is one of those household chores that, despite its importance, are avoided until you are faced with a dripping wet child screaming for clean pajamas. We have all been there; whether it is the dripping wet child or the husband asking where all the socks are. (It is not that we do not want to do it...well..maybe a little.) It is also a question of finding the time. Laundry is a long process, from washing and drying, to the dreaded task of folding and putting away. With busy lives, how do we find the time?
Thanks to Whirlpool, we now have help readily available. Whirlpool Washsquad is a new mobile app that allows you to get a handle on laundry in a fresh new way. With this app, you can get your entire family involved. As a mom of two young boys, I am super excited to use this app to teach my boys about the importance of chores and how to be more independent.
The Whirlpool Washsquad app allows you to assign laundry jobs to your family, follow their progress and reward them for a job well done. I know my boys love getting rewards! It is easy to get them involved by showing them how the app tracks their activities and gives all of us tips on organizing, cleaning, drying and folding clothes. Own a Whirlpool product? The Cycle Guide will allow you to customize your app to your specific machines.
One of my favorite features of the new app is the Stain Eraser & Fabric Coach. You can get advice on stain removal and caring for all different kinds of fabrics. (This is particularly helpful since I spend so much time trying to remove grass stains from the knees of my boys’ pants!) In addition, there is a link to shop for cleaning supplies through Amazon’s mobile site.
The free Whirlpool WashSquad App lets you:
- Assign laundry jobs to your family
- Track and reward their completed chores
- Create custom laundry guides with wash and dry instructions tailored to your Whirlpool washer and dryer
The Whirlpool Washsquad app is free and easy to use. Download the free application now and you’ll be on your way to perfectly clean laundry that you didn’t have to do. Moreover, getting your family involved will help save you time and provides parents with a fun way to teach your kids about laundry, chores and working together. Now that’s one kind of laundry we can get behind!
