Saving Abel cuts Tour Dates

Class of 2009 poster

Just recently Saving Abel decided they need to cut their Class of 2009 tour short due to the lead singer, Jared Weeks, being hospitalized. He has to have an insulin pump inserted into his body immediately, so he needs the proper amount of time off for that. The cancelled tour dates are from November 30 through December 8, starting in Orono, Maine and ending in Atlanta, Georgia.

Good news, for Nashville, however. They will still be performing on Friday, December 18 at the Cannery Ballroom. To purchase tickets, click here. They will be accompanied by RED, Adelitas Way, and Taddy Porter. Doors will open at 8 PM and tickets are just $22! If you can't make that show, maybe you can head out to Memphis New Years Eve to catch them at the Peabody Hotel in the Grand Ballroom. For more information, click here.

On the upside, Saving Abel will be putting out a new album this spring. They'll also be attending the second annual We Are Building Lives in-studio concert, which will be live, and is titled Rock Your Country Soul this October. This event is in support of Nashville's homeless veterans. The concert will be October 8 at the World Famous Sound Kitchen Studios in Franklin. Below is their music video for their #1 rock hit, #7 on the Billboard Top 40 Airplay Chart, and the song that had over a million downloads, from their debut album, Saving Abel, "Addicted."
