One might wonder if by the end of July/beginning of August that New Orleans would be a little festival-ed out.
...but that's just blasphemy.
The dates are now scheduled for the 14th annual Satchmo SummerFest taking place at the Louisiana State Museum’s Old U.S. Mint.
Dedicated to the life, legacy, and music of New Orleans’ native son, Louis Armstrong, Satchmo SummerFest presents three days of discussions about the life and talent of Louis Armstrong, seminars about the history and influence of jazz music in New Orleans, and of course - music.
The 2014 Satchmo SummerFest will take place from July 31 to August 3.
Stay tuned to learn about more details as they become available.
