Save money on groceries: Make your own salad dressing

Store bought salad dressing is awful, expensive, and typically loaded with preservatives. Considering that you can make this quick recipe at home in three minutes, using only a few ingredients from a standard Pantry Essentials Checklist, this is one staple to make weekly. By using a Pampered Chef Measure, Mix, & Pour® the dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week. Many families like to make it each Friday night while prepping for the family's pizza night.

Versions of this kid-friendly recipe for Balsamic Vinaigrette are only limited by a Mom's imagination. Keep four or five different types of vinegar and mustard in the refrigerator at all times, add a little seasoning, and oil, and the possibilities are endless.
