Last year, "Hellrotika: Odyssey of the Gods" brought out more than 1,000 partygoers in the name of equality and this year promises to up the ante, as Armageddon 2013 is expected to be even bigger.

"Whether you are gay, straight, lesbian, transgender or bisexual, this party will feature an environment of inclusion and acceptance like no other event in South Florida, said Tony Lima, SAVE Dade's executive director.

The fundraiser will have two components. "The Luminaries of Equality, a pre-event awards reception, will honor four young community leaders for their commitment to equality and dedication to LGBT advocacy. After that, "Armageddon 2013" will begin with a ball that is an exquisite combination of theatrics, dancing and masquerade celebration, complete with the best costume contest in South Florida featuring over $1,000 in cash and prizes.

The entertainment will also include celebrity Superstar DJ Tracy Young spinning in the main area, and a second area featuring local DJ's FR8-DO and Bill James. An open bar all night is included with admission.

Admission to the reception is $150 and the Halloween ball is $100.

Both event will be held in the Miami Beach Convention Center, Hall D. All proceeds go to fighting for LGBT Equality.
