Save 20-70% at Belk’s Charity Sale on Saturday, April 27 from 6-10 a.m. The four-hour shopping sale directly benefits non-profit charities and schools, allowing them to keep 100% of each $5 ticket sold, while providing shoppers an opportunity to save 20 to 70 percent off purchases of seldom discounted merchandise. Thrifty Belk shoppers will want to mark their calendars.
Participating non-profit organizations will keep 100% of each $5 ticket sold. There is no limit to the number of tickets charities can sell, or to the amount of money, they can raise. Belk provides tickets and informational materials at no cost to each participating organization. In 2012 Belk’s Charity Sale raised almost $5 million for over 8,000 participating charitable organizations in sixteen states.
Tickets may be purchased at Belk stores with all revenues from in-store ticket sales equally divided among participating non-profits and schools at each local store. The first 100 customers to arrive at each Belk store on the morning of Belk’s Charity Sale will receive a free gift card, up to a $1,000 value.
This is an excellent way to help Columbia schools that so badly need supplies and equipment and local non-profits, especially with the added demands that the struggling economy has placed upon many families and neighborhoods. It also helps the thrifty fashion shopper with 20-70% off storewide on Saturday, April 27.
Shoppers will also receive $5 off their first purchase when they present their Charity Sale ticket to a sales associate. Belk’s Charity Sale is only four hours, but is truly a win-win situation!
