Savannah Brinson the longtime girlfriend of NBA star LeBron James ran in the New Year sporting a huge 5 carat pear-shaped diamond ring.
HollywoodLife reports that James asked Savannah Brinson to marry him during a New Year's Eve party at the SL nightclub in Miami last weekend. James sealed the deal with a traditional Tiffany styled pear shaped diamond with tapered down diamond baguettes on each side.
The ring is considered a are style that many jewelers claim that have not seen since Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton's days. The ring is valued at $300,000.
Brinson and James, 27, have been dating since high school and share two sons, LeBron James Jr, 11, and ,Bryce Maximus, age 4.
No news yet as to whether o not the happy couple have decided on a wedding date o not just yet.

It is safe to say that Cavalier fans are still a little sore after LeBron James decided to leave Cleveland for the Miami Heat.
The decision was a bitter pill for Cleveland fans to swallow and it will most likely take a few more years to completely get over it.
