Sauter moves to No. 98, Bodine in No. 13 truck at Daytona

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Johnny Sauter may not be leaving ThorSport Racing, but he will have a new number on the side of his truck when the series heads to Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway for the 2013 season opener on Feb. 22.

SPEED Channel reported the change recently, and the bio on Sauter's official Twitter (@JohnnySauter) reflects the move to the No. 98. The change is said to be related to ThorSport and Sauter's relationship with Mike Curb of Curb records.

Sauter previously drove the No. 13 at ThorSport Racing. During that time, the organization fielded a No. 98 on a part-time basis. That truck was then driven by Dakoda Armstrong.

The No. 13 isn't going away, though. ThorSport Racing announced earlier this week that Todd Bodine will drive the No. 13 at Daytona.

"This deal with Todd and Mattei Air Compressors (sponsor) came together late in the game but we believe good things come to those who are patient," ThorSport Racing general manager David Pepper said. "By far, this is the best lineup we've ever started the season with at ThorSport and we expect to have a strong showing at Daytona. We can't wait to get 2013 started."

Bodine drove the No. 11 Toyota for Red Horse Racing in 2012.

Longtime ThorSport Racing driver Matt Crafton will remain in the No. 88 truck.
