"Ghost Adventures" returns for its ninth season this weekend on the Travel Channel. The season premiere airs at 9 pm on Saturday, February 15, 2014. The boys move from Friday nights into a Saturday night time-slot with 13 new one-hour episodes airing every Saturday.

"Ghost Adventures" began as an independent documentary film that first aired on the Syfy Channel on July 27, 2007. The documentary was so popular that the Travel Channel decided to turn it into a television show. It first premiered on October 17, 2008 and follows paranormal investigators Zak Bagans, Nick Groff, and Aaron Goodwin as they explore alleged haunted locations.

"In the season nine premiere, Zak Bagans, Nick Groff, and Aaron Goodwin explore the Oman House, a Los Angeles home ridden with paranormal activity believed to be directly related to the infamous Sharon Tate murder by Charles Manson's cult of followers in 1969, which took place just 200 feet from the property. The team discovers the home also sits atop a Native American burial ground and on a geomagnetic anomaly. Reports include objects moving on their own; sightings of a pregnant, bleeding female apparition walking around outside the home thought to be Sharon Tate herself; and those who enter the house have feelings of overwhelming physical pain and illness. As the lockdown begins, a powerful, negative energy shrouds the space, along with disembodied voices and objects falling over on their own. When Groff experiences burning sensations and severe stomach pains, he's forced to leave the home. What the team documents leaves more questions than answers."
