A fair amount of fashion news to start the long weekend, and more to come as retailers return home from the Las Vegas fashion shows. Fall is just around the corner, which means you'll have to put away your whites, linens, and other summer goodies...or maybe not. If the weather warrants it, wear it - at least for another week or so.

Moving on...

Super cool fashion designer Thom Browne is coming out with two new, lower-priced lines, one of which is being referred to as "red, white and blue" for Spring 2010 -- here are some sneak peaks, courtesy of Men.Style.com.

Meanwhile, J. Crew is hooking up with Alex Carleton from Rogues Gallery for a new line of shirts that will be sold at J. Crew's 'Liquor Store' location in New York.

Y-3 and graffiti artist Momo have hooked up for a new pair of sneakers.

Like to wear driving shoes but dislike the current offerings? Simon Crompton may have a solution.

The power coat is back...but only if you know how to wear it without looking like you just stepped out of the 80s.

Q13 Fox has a video look at some fall fashions from Jaxx Men. Too many jeans, though. Can Seattle guys wear some other types of pants besides jeans? Come on!

Have a stylish Labor Day weekend!
