Saturday's LSU men's basketball game moved to 4:30 p.m.

The LSU men's basketball game scheduled for Saturday, January 4, 2014 has been moved up to 4:30 p.m according to LSU Sports.

Saturday's game was originally set for 7:00 p.m. in the Pete Maravich Center, but since the New Orleans Saints will be playing in the opening round of the NFL playoffs in a wild card game, LSU officials moved the game up so fans can enjoy watching both games.

The Tigers will take on Rhode Island Saturday afternoon in a game that will be televised by Cox Sports TV. Radio coverage of the game will be covered by LSU Sports Radio Network and WTGE 100.7 FM. This will be the last non-conference game for the Tigers before conference play opens next week.

The LSU Tiger basketball team is on a five-game winning streak and currently 9-2 for the season. The Tigers will open conference play next week on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 against Tennessee at the Pete Maravich Center. Tipoff for this game will be at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are still available at this time for both games at the LSU Box Office.
