Saturday's Little League World Series (LLWS) schedule of games; US and International Championships

Friday, Hawaii pulled out a spot in the final four at the 2010 Little League World Series (LLWS) by beating Georgia, 12-5. Saturday, Texas and Hawaii play for the US Championship game.

Thursday, Pearland, Texas beat and eliminated Auburn, Washington in the LLWS and they will move to the US Championship game scheduled for Saturday.

Chinese Taipei will play Tokyo, Japan and the winner of that game will play the winner of Saturday’s US Championship game for the title of 2010 Little League World Series champions.

The LLWS is currently underway in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and will continue through Sunday, August 29 when the final championship games are played. The LLWS started with eight international and eight US teams.

Schedule for Saturday, Aug. 28
Challenger Game: Cherry Hill American LL (NJ) vs. Friendswood LL (TX) – 11 am
International Championship: Japan vs. Asia-Pacific 1 pm on ABC
US Championship: Waipahu, Hawaii vs. Pearland, Texas immediately following the International game on ABC

Schedule for Sunday, Aug. 29
Consolation Game: Teams TBA - 11 am on ESPN
World Championship: Teams TBA 3 pm - ABC

The winner of these two Saturday games will compete on Sunday for the Little League World Series final game.
