This weekend marks the grand debut of Zooey Deschanel on "Saturday Night Live," and in what may be a surprise to pretty much no one, her first promo video for the show is chock full of jokes that are familiar territory for the "New Girl" star.
In the video (which you can see to the left, Zooey sings with Kenan Thompson while also making jokes about jazz hands and collecting teeth. She also has a rather expansive knowledge of Black History Month.
The real challenge for Zooey is going to be trying to one-up a show featuring Channing Tatum last week that, even in spite of some of the host's limitations, was a blast to watch.
