'Saturday Night Live': The Lumineers perform 'Ho Hey'

2013 has been a very promising year for The Lumineers thus far. Their song "Ho Hey" was featured in the trailer for "Silver Linings Playbook," and it has become a top 10 single and one of the most-played songs on adult contemporary radio. So how did they decide to follow up all of this success? Be performing on this week's edition of "Saturday Night Live."

It was coincidental in many ways that the band performed on the show the same week in which Jennifer Lawrence was hosting, as she was the female star of the aforementioned film and even ended up winning the Golden Globe for Best Actresss in a Comedy or Musical over some pretty steep competition including Meryl Streep.

Of course, it only made sense for The Lumineers to perform "Ho Hey" on this show, and they did with a great deal of enthusiasm and with a cover that sounded almost exactly like an original recording. This is a notoriously small stage that many artists have trouble with, but the band drew plenty of applause without a problem.
