'Saturday Night Live': Lana Del Rey ... returns?

It didn't take long for "Saturday Night Live" to poke fun at Lana Del Rey -- in their first new episode since the singer came out and drew mass criticism for her performances of "Blue Jeans" and "Video Games," the show brought out the "singer" (or at least their new impersonation of her) during Weekend Update.

This version of Rey ultimately owned up to everything -- including saying that she failed to live up to the "hallowed ground" that is the show stage, a place once occupied by the Baha Men. She also explained that she is "off-putting" and "weird," which is probably why the critics used the same words to describe her.

Del Rey herself only recently spoke out about the performance, saying that she "felt good" about it even in spite of the criticism.

What do you think about the show making fun of its own recent musical guest?
