From Gabourey Sidibe to Kim Kardashian (who may be regretting it now), a number of Hollywood's biggest celebrities are jumping on the biggest thing to hit entertainment in quite some time -- the Justin Bieber phenomenon.
Both of these stars met the "Baby" singer at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner last weekend, and Sidibe (who recently hosted "Saturday Night Live," which had Justin on as a guest performer) had this to say about the experience to OK! Magazine:
“Here’s a thing I’m actually embarrassed about…I met Justin Bieber before, and then I was at the table and I was there with my friends. We were going to talk to him, and then he showed up.
“I was like ‘hey, my little sister really likes you, and she’s 12, would you take a picture?’ he was like, ‘cool.’
“And then he walks away, and I was like ‘wow’. All of a sudden, ‘Bieber Fever’ swept over me and I got hot and started sweating. I was like ‘What’s happening to me? Justin Bieber did it!’”
So there you have it -- Justin Bieber claims yet another victim. The phenomenon in a way is fascinating, mainly because very few performers seem to have that sort of immediate effect on people.
So what is Bieber up to today? Let's check his Twitter:
"yesterday was a great day. was in the studio recording a new song. met some really incredible new people. got some big surprises coming"
