Saturday - Make your own cigar box guitar - Strum the winter blues away

Cigar box guitars have been made for over 150 years. Read more about the history here. Make one of your own on Saturday. Instructor Jeremiah Lee will teach you how to create cigar box guitars that are both sophisticated visual works and finely tuned acoustic instruments. Supplies will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own cigar boxes.

Free coffee, juice and cookies will be served during the workshop. Open to all ages. CPDUs are available for CPS teachers.

$10. It's happening March 9, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art, a nonprofit organization that promotes outsider, intuitive and self-taught art.
