We all have fond memories of Saturday morning cartoons like Bugs Bunny and Huckleberry Hound. But when the Beatles came along with their own show in 1965, it turned everything upside down.
For a change, living human beings were seen as animated characters. And the ratings were huge.
That's the subject of this week's Fab Fourum. And, as it turns out, one of the hosts is very qualified to talk about the subject. That's Mitch Axelrod, one of the members of the Fab Fourum, who wrote "Beatletoons, The Real Story Behind The Cartoon Beatles".
The show is available on www.fabfourum.com/audio-gallery.html, iTunes and www.Podarama.com/fab_fourum. Also on www.podarama.com/fab_fourum is a bonus episode where The Fab Fourum hosts look back at Ringo's 2010 summer All Starr Band tour.
