Project Animal Worldwide (PAW) needs your help to win a special award. In their recent blog and newsletter, PAW announced their documentary film entitled “Spirit of the Sato: The Journey of Puerto Rico’s Lost Dogs” was selected to screen in the Spring 2014 American Online Film Awards Showcase.
The film was created to shed light on the unbreakable spirit of Puerto Rico's abandoned dog population. The word “Sato” is slang for mutt. You can watch the Spirit of the Sato documentary online here.
From May 1-14, 2014, the documentary will be screening at americanonlinefilmawards.org. A $4 pass will give access to all the films featured in the Showcase.
Spirit of the Sato’s official selection makes it eligible for the Best Documentary Film Award. Help PAW win the award by voting for Spirit of the Sato in the competition. Learn how to vote here.
AOFA celebrates the best of independent and foreign films, documentaries, TV shows and music videos. It runs two seasonal film showcases, spring and fall, culminating with the awards in December.
Project Animal Worldwide (PAW) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to develop spay/neuter programs, assist in animal rescue and implement humane education in areas of the world where the homeless dog and cat population is unmanageable.
