Satan on "The Bible" miniseries is decidedly a President Obama look-alike to many viewers who went on Twitter to comment about Sunday night's episode airing on the History Channel. Is it a coincidence or a political statement? According to a Mediaite.com report March 18, the resemblance didn't go unnoticed by observers of the show.
Actor Mohamen Mehdi Ouazanni played the role of Satan in the highly popular miniseries.
Glenn Beck, right-wing political commentator and radio host, tweeted his thoughts on the Obama look-alike who appeared on "The Bible" episode.
"Anyone else think the Devil in #TheBible Sunday on History Channel looks exactly like That Guy?"
Another viewer of the show tweeted:
"Oh my word...watching The History Channel's The Bible..does Satan look familiar to anyone else?"
Another person recalled a scene that aired in season one of the"Game of Thrones" in which President George W. Bush's head was on a stick seen in the background of the show.
"The same people totally ok with Bush's head on a pike in Game of Thrones are flipping out at an actor who looks like Obama playing Satan."
Was it just a coincidence that Satan looked like Obama in "The Bible" miniseries Sunday night?
