Last Exit Live has been hosting some interesting events recently, most especially a couple of EP recordings - a few weeks ago featured The Stakes, a talented and diverse band with multiple pieces, this week it's Sassy and the Sneak Attack ! The recording (both video and audio) of the Stakes' EP was a highly successful venture, and should see a proper release for purchase very soon. Zeedubb of the Stakes spoke very highly of the sound, and recording conditions at Last Exit, which should whet fans appetites for the recordings yet to come.
Saturday sees the recording of the *SATSA* EP, which features openers the Hourglass Cats, and the Shakers. Venessa Mendez, the 'Sassy' lead singer and namesake whose 'wild imagination' the band stems from, says "Sassy will be lighting up the stage with her Sneak Attack - I've got some flashy tricks up my sleeve for Saturday !"
This should be one you shouldn't miss - if you know Sassy, then you know she means what she says, and it's going to be quite a show on Saturday night !
Last Exit Live will also host an intriguing show the night before, Friday the 21st: Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra, and Fly Moon Royalty (from Seattle.)
Tickets for the SATSA EP recording are $5 - Last Exit Live is located at 717 S. Central Ave. in Phoenix.
Are you going to either of these shows ? If so, let me know in the comments below !
