Longtime sports talk host Scott Hayes, the former half of the “Scott and Jake Show” which aired on WAMR 1320 AM and WSRQ 1220 AM in Sarasota, returns to the airwaves on “The Scott and Phil Show” weekdays 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on WTMY “The Sports Fanatic” 1280 AM. Hayes has been doing a Friday afternoon drive show on WTMY during the football season with Steve Huggins. Phil Russell had been hosting "The Russell Report" in the afternoon drive slot. The duo starts Monday February 11.

The station also posted the following on Facebook: Looking for women 18 and up to be a part of our “Feminatics” street team for live events. We will be doing several broadcasts from both Ed Smith and Port Charlotte for the Orioles and Rays spring training coming up and need attractive females to pass out swag to our listeners and fans of the teams. You will be compensated $10 an hour (no less than $50 a day).

The first weekend without football in a long time may give some sports fans withdrawal symptoms, but CBS Sports (WTSP in Tampa Bay) hopes to alleviate those pangs with two Top-25 college basketball games. Action tips off on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. as No. 20-ranked Missouri takes on No. 23-ranked Ole Miss. On Sunday at 1:00 p.m. the network will feature a Big Ten battle pitting No. 1-ranked Indiana at No. 10-ranked Ohio State.

Kevin Harlan and CBS Sports’ lead college basketball analyst Clark Kellogg call the Indiana-Ohio State call live from Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Ian Eagle and analyst Greg Anthony team up for Missouri vs. Ole Miss live from Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Mo. on Sunday.

Prior to Saturday’s game, CBS Sports continues its celebration of 75 years of March Madness with a 30-minute show at 12:30 p.m., “CBS Sports Presents 75 Years of NCAA March Madness: Top 10 Coaches”.

Hosted by Greg Gumbel, the program features CBS Sports announcers Jim Nantz, Clark Kellogg, Bill Raftery, Greg Anthony and Seth Davis selecting the 10 greatest NCAA Tournament coaches of all time.
