The Sarasota Millionaires football team will be participating in this year’s Suncoast Lifestyle Expo sponsored by WWSB-TV on Saturday January 12 at the Sarasota/Bradenton International Convention Center.
The Millionaires organization will have a booth at the Expo with several players and head coach Ernest Givins in attendance.
The Suncoast Lifestyle will include free product samplings from local restaurants and businesses, demonstrations and giveaways from the exhibitors. The Expo will also be offering free health screenings and advice from experts in the financial and medical industries. There is no charge for admission or parking.
The Expo runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Convention center is located at 8005 15th St. East Sarasota, FL 34243.
The Millionaires are currently in training and holding practices twice a week in preparation for the upcoming United Football Federation (UFF) season, which begins in February. The Millionaires have a pre-season game scheduled for Saturday January 12 at Booker High School in Sarasota against the New York Demon Knights at 4:00 p.m.
The New York Demon Knights are members of the Five Star Football League. The team is known for its winning traditions with appearances in five tournament championship games.
General admission is $7.00. Free admission for children under six years old. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross for victims of Super Storm Sandy.
