Sarasota Millionaires host Broward County Cowboys Saturday at Booker High School

The Sarasota Millionaires (3-1) return to their home field at Booker High School in more than a month this Saturday to face the undefeated Broward County Cowboys (5-0) in a 4:00 p.m. kickoff.

The Millionaires are coming off a comeback 34-30 victory over the Florida Stingrays last Saturday in Ft. Myers. Running back Patrick “Choo Choo” Brown led the offense by rushing for 165 yards on 24 carries and scored three touchdowns and a two-point conversion.

Sarasota maintains a share of the lead in the UFF’s South Florida Conference West Division with the Florida Veterans.

The Millionaires will have its toughest challenge of the season so far in taking on the unbeaten Broward County Cowboys who are averaging 42 points a game on offense. The Cowboys defense is allowing a miserly less than six points per game at the season’s halfway mark. Broward County’s win last week was the result of a forfeit as their opponent, the Palm Beach Phantoms folded.

After last week’s win in Ft. Myers, Millionaires head coach Ernest Givins said this game against the Cowboys “will be the biggest test for his team this season”.

Admission to Saturday’s game at Booker High School is $7.00 with children under 6 years old admitted free.
