Sarasota Millionaires face Tampa Bay Stallions in UFF season opener

The Sarasota Millionaires kick off their inaugural season in the United Football Federation (UFF) on Saturday (February 9th) on the road against the Tampa Bay Stallions. The game will be played at 3210 Tampa Road Oldsmar, FL 34684. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.

Previously the Millionaires played in the Southern States Football League and the Florida Football Association before joining the UFF this season.

Sarasota won both pre-season games this winter leading up to the road opener in Oldsmar against the Stallions.

Head Coach Ernest Givins enters his second season at the helm of the Millionaires after many years of success with the St. Petersburg Sharks. Givins was one of the all-time great receivers in the NFL with the Houston Oilers.

The Millionaires home opener will be the Saturday February 16th at Booker High School in Sarasota against the Bay Area Pirates. Kickoff is at 4:00 p.m. The team is dedicating their season to fallen teammate Darian “Pretty Red” Everett who was killed in a car accident last December.
