Sarasota based YouTube show ‘The Red Couch’ gaining popularity

As video content on multiple platforms continues to expand in this new age of media and communications, a Sarasota based internet talk show “The Red Couch” has been carving out its own niche as a forum for interesting interviews featuring women who share their stories and secrets to living a happy and successful life.

The show began taping in the fall of 2011 and launched May 9, 2012 on YouTube. The concept for “The Red Couch” grew out of hundreds of interviews for creator/executive producer and host Rachel Schaeffer’s upcoming book, “The Juicy Secrets Sisterhood”. Wanting a venue for sharing the voices of other women, she created the program, which aims to make a positive impact on viewers by empowering and inspiring them to not only survive, but also thrive.
