When we last saw the folks at Pearson Hardman, Mike was mourning the loss of his grandma, and not making the best of choices, Rachel found him in a compromising position. Hardman was booted out of the firm, and Donna was back at the firm with Harvey where she belongs. And Louis was, well...Louis was busy being Louis. After a long wait, "Suits" fans can celebrate. The show is returning from hiatus this month and Sarah Rafferty (Donna) chatted about the upcoming episodes (Entertainment & Stars, Jan 2)
The scoop for the remainder of season two: "Hardman may be gone, but all-out war is about to erupt in the office. Expect some big power plays directed at the firm and within the firm in the first two episodes. Meanwhile, Mike will feel the consequences of having slept with the married Tess, especially when it comes to his relationship with Rachel. Even a surprising confession from Rachel to Mike, which reveals that they have more in common than they thought, can't undo the damage,"
Louis will need to work for everyone to trust him again, because of the decisions he made, hopefully we will get to hear "Litt Up" again. Rachel's father will be coming to town and we hear isn't the nicest of guys.
Rafferty said she enjoyed the darkness of the season so far and she was "psyched" that Donna was fired and was glad it wasn't always sunshine and roses "She's completely confused that she could have messed up so badly. She feels horrible about it and incredibly concerned about the damage that she's potentially done to Harvey's career and his life."
As for Harvey, Rafferty says "we get a little bit more into Harvey's personal life and that's always fun for Donna." No word on if they will reveal the meaning of the can opener or "the other time"
