Stop by Park Road Books on Sunday, January 20 at 2:00. There, you'll be treated to a fabulous double bill. First up is Charlotte's own, wonderful Gigi Dover (of Gigi Dover and The Big Love). She’ll be warming up the crowd with a thirty minute performance of WWII songs.
At 2:30, Sarah Pleydell takes the podium to read from her new book “Cologne.” The novel is set in the early 1960s in post-war Britain. It tells the story of a troubled English family whose lives are altered by the arrival of a German au pair. Childhood and history collide as all parties deal with the past and future. “Cologne” is published by Fuze Publishing. Pleydell will sign copies following her reading. The book is $14.95.
