The former Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin is scheduled to appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show this November. Harpo Productions, Inc. announced the booking yesterday and noted that Palin and Winfrey would not meet until the day of the show.

The date set for Palin’s appearance is Nov. 16, 2009. She will be discussing her new book, Going Rogue: An American Life. MSNBC reports that Palin’s book was ranked no. 4 Tuesday on Amazon’s best-seller list. Her book is slated to be released the day after her big interview with Oprah (Nov. 17th).

Winfrey, who received a bit of criticism for not inviting Palin on her show, after being announced as John McCain’s running mate, told TMZ in 2008, "At the beginning of this presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates."

She also noted, “There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show." She did state that after the election she would love to schedule an interview.

Now that the election is over, Winfrey is welcoming Palin with open arms. Rasmussen Reports notes that Palin has the support of 18% of Republican voters for the 2012 election. The question is now whether or not there will be tension on the set of Oprah or some controversial conversation on this subject matter?

SARAH PALIN is the Republican that everyone loves and respects. She is a smart no nonsense woman that EARNED her positions and didnt kiss up to anyone. Ms. Palin has done more for Alaska in 6 years than anyone did in the last 50. Sarah Palin will make a great candidate for 2012. Oprah knows Sarah is the countries choice and that is why Oprah wants her on her show.
