Sarah Palin talks to Rush, Oprah on book tour

Sarah Palin's instant #1 bestseller Going Rogue will finally be officially released on November 17. To promote the book, Palin will be making the media rounds this week.

First, Palin's interview with Oprah Winfrey airs Monday, November 16. (Scroll down for a preview).

On Tuesday, Palin talks to Barbara Walters on Good Morning, America, with other portions of the interview airing later on 20/20. Watch a 30-second preview here.

Also on Tuesday, Sarah Palin talks to Rush Limbaugh live, who has already praised Going Rogue as a "substantive policy book."

Knowing how many fans she has among conservative talk radio listeners, Palin will be on the Dennis Miller show on Friday November 20, and other shows to be announced.

Along with big-name media appearances, Sarah Palin's three-week book signing bus tour starts on Wednesday. The Guardian writes:

"Although the bus tour is ostensibly to promote her book, it bears all the hallmarks of an election campaign, decked out with her image and visiting not the big cities normally associated with literary tours, but the smaller towns of the Republican heartland and the swing states."

Along with avoiding the usual media stops in favor of a tour of the heartland, the WSJ notes that Sarah Palin's publicists are relying on the web to promote the book. (Palin has almost 1,000,000 "friends" on Facebook):

"Among the features of this new strategy: buying Internet advertising based on Google searches of her name, and using Facebook as a key means of communicating with voters. Her team also has considered filing libel suits against bloggers who spread rumors about her family."

Andy Barr at Politico believes Sarah Palin's book tour has five major goals: to reconnect with her base, "payback," "stick it to the media," send a message to the establishment, and burnish her image as a serious figure.

I'm a little disappointed that she did Oprah. But I guess she must have thought it was to her advantage.

This is where she is going to get a little back from her tormentors. I bet the White House always has a fresh pair of pant wear for Obama & his fellow Socialists.
She's the nightmare from the film Deliverance they all believe exist.
    They just may be right!

A comment on Sarah doing Oprah`s show. Remember folks keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

I do not know Sarah`s intentions for the future but I will bet there are a lot of unintended skid marks on the shorts of a lot of MSM and beltway dolts these days.

If she decides to run for the presidency without those idiots that handcuffed her as McCains VP they will be left wondering if their butt wholes where punched, bored or pecked out by a woodpecker.

Of course she did Oprah. She is selling a book. Why can't people understand this? Oprah is a stupid show, IMAO, but it has a big audience.
