Sarah Palin says 'I-told-you-so,' Sen. Obama should have invaded Ukraine in 2008

Sarah Palin is one of those women that insists that she doesn't like to say "I told you so." In a facebook posting Friday on her page, Palin said it: "I told you so."

Palin takes credit for seeing Alaska from her home. "Yes, I could see this one from Alaska." Poitning out that she doesn't like to say, "I told you so."

She said it.

But . . . Palin posted, "I'm usually not one to Told-Ya-So, but I did." Palin continued, "Despite my accurate prediction being derided as 'an extremely far-fetched scenario' by the 'high-brow' Foreign Policy magazine. Here’s what this 'stupid' 'insipid woman' predicted back in 2008."

"After the Russian Army invaded the nation of Georgia, Senator Obama's reaction was one of indecision and moral equivalence, the kind of response that would only encourage Russia's Putin to invade Ukraine next."

To think, this prediction only took six years to come to fruition. How uncanny?

If only United States Senator Barack Obama had invaded Ukraine in 2008 and if only he hadn't hesitated to invade the former U.S.S.R. state of Georgia in 2008, we wouldn't have the mess we are in now.

However, at the time, Obama has as much authority to stop the Russian army from invading the state of Georgia, as Sarah Palin had as a candidate for Vice President, on the ticket with Senator John McCain. Or for that matter, stopping Ukraine from being invaded by the Russian army.

Putin had to be stopped by somebody. If not Barack Obama, or Sarah Palin, or John McCain, who could have stopped Putin in his tracks.

In fact, only President George W. Bush had that authority (with or without Congressional approval) in 2008 when Palin made her statement about Ukraine. Bush did nothing, much to the consternation of the right wing warmongers like William Kristol, but good for the American people.

Apparently, this was "all Bush's fault" . . . again.

In electing Barack Obama president, that was the country's way of saying to Sarah Palin, "I told you so."
