A brand new Sarah Palin Facebook message has been posted, and in it, the former Alaska governor comes to the defense of “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson, after his anti-gay comments have placed him square in the eye of a media storm.

In a short Facebook post, Palin posts a photo of herself with the “Duck Dynasty,” and underneath it reads her defense of Robertson’s decision to speak his mind.

“Free speech is an endangered species,” writes Palin.

“Those “intolerants” hatin’ and taking on the Duck Dynasty patriarch for voicing his personal opinion are taking on all of us.”

Palin struck a chord with many readers of this message, as over 227,000 people on Facebook have “liked” Palin’s comments.

As for Robertson, while the A&E star may be getting loads of supports from his followers and even a former Vice Presidential candidate, his network is not supporting him. Robertson has been suspended for his comments, which have the whole nation talking.

In a recent interview with GQ, Phil Robertson voiced his thoughts on homosexuals, claiming that he could not understand why a man would want to have sex with another man, as opposed to a woman. Robertson then implied that homosexuality is a “sin” and stated that sin is “not logical.”
