As it turns out, those rumors about Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston getting a reality show may not be true -- they could have enough money for a while thanks to a magazine payday. According to a new story by the New York Post, the daughter of former Alaska Governor-turned Fox News pundit Sarah Palin may have received $100,000 from the Us Weekly story concerning the engagement.
What makes this report even more fascinating is the suggestion that Bristol also gave an interview to People Magazine, but that she didn't mention the engagement during their entire chat.
Even with all of this information in mind, it's still hard to know exactly whether or not Bristol was paid anything. A representative for Us Weekly was dismissive about the claims of shelling out big cash:
"We were approached by Bristol and Levi to break the news, and we didn't pay $100,000."
How much do you think Bristol Palin received for this story, if anything? Feel free to share your thoughts with a comment and stay tuned for more news.

Buxom, beautiful Bristol Palin understands the media/celebrity culture, and knows how to earn a quick payday. So what?
Pud Puller indeed.
If the media could just say "No, thanks," to these children and their need for fame, maybe they would actually live normal lives. But I guess if they weren't begging for covers, Mama Bear would be using them in some other way to further her ambition. Shame on McCain for creating this Palin monster.
