Sarah Palin was suppose to release her new book "Going Rogue-An American Life" early next year, but the release date has been moved up to this year, on November 17th.
Just two days after HarperCollins made the announcement that the book had been moved up from the spring to Nov. 17, preorders Wednesday night made it No. 1 on both Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.com. The pre-orders sent the book to the No. 1 position, outselling, Sen. Ted Kennedy's "True Compass," and Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol."
Palin spent time in San Diego shortly after leaving office and worked on the manuscript for the book in collaboration with Lynn Vincent. Palin was able to complete the book four months after agreeing to the terms with HarperCollins who has commission a first printing of 1.5 million copies.
Palin, the former Alaska Governor is thought to be a possible 2012 contender for the presidency.
In the meantime, while you wait for the book, you can watch Dave Letterman's "tongue-in-cheek" Top 10 Sarah Palin Tips for Writing a Book by David Letterman.

Comments
You have the sequence backwards. They didn't move up the release date because of high pre-orders. They moved up the release date because Palin finished the book well ahead of her deadline. It was only when the announced the release date and the title that the pre-orders started, and moved to #1 in a little more than a day.
