Sarah Palin rumored as possible replacement for Oprah (video)

A possible piece of inside intel regarding names in consideration to be Oprah Winfrey's potential replacement slipped out on Wednesday morning's 'Hot Topics' segment of The View. Joy Behar pointed out that co-host and conservative darling Elisabeth Hasselbeck had been discussing the potential consideration of Sarah Palin as a candidate to take over Oprah Winfrey's coveted time slot before the show backstage.

After the ladies waxed bizarro on potential Oprah Winfrey replacements for several minutes, Joy Behar pointed to Elisabeth Hasselbeck and blurted out: "Sarah Palin, you were saying,...." and then her voice trailed off as Hasselbeck gave her an icy stare. "Or was I not supposed to say that on....?"

"Maybe,....I don't know,..." stammered Elisabeth Hasselbeck and then turned to the audience and added: "We're still working on things" regarding her relationship with Behar. Hasselbeck and Joy Behar butted heads earlier in the week when Behar brought up that Hasselbeck had been ranting backstage about how she wanted to leave New York City because she was afraid of terrorism.

"Hey! That's personal! Do you want me to dig on your personal stuff?" Hasselbeck barked back. The exchange elicited a juicy gasp from The View audience.

After blowing the lid on the inside intel Elisabeth Hasselbeck dropped backstage about Sarah Palin as a possible replacement for Oprah, Joy Behar tried to cover: "I think Sarah Palin is a good choice for that job, I really do."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck brought the discussion to an abrupt end by saying: "I have no idea who's going to take the spot," and then immediately announced that everyone in the audience was receiving a luxury cappucino machine.

Former co-host of The View Rosie O'Donnell stated in a recent interview on the Howard Stern Show that Elisabeth Hasselbeck received daily briefings and lists of talking points to hit from representatives at Fox News. Hasselbeck has many contacts inside the conservative news media community.

Barbara Walters stated her belief that Oprah Winfrey's replacement will be her longtime friend and failed talk show host Gale King.  Joy Behar pointed out that the New York Times had suggested that the ladies of The View themselves take over Oprah's time slot.

Oprah Winfrey will not make the official announcement regarding her replacement until September 2010.

Sarah Palin sucks and is a racist b**ch and leave it to idiot Elisabeth (the "conservative darling) who hails from a "DARK BLUE STATE" to even suggest something like that..... The View needs to get rid of Ms. Elisabeth and maybe it will be enjoyable.
