Sarah Palin is coming to your living room this fall. The former Alaska governor's reality show, Sarah Palin's Alaska, will premiere Nov. 14, 2010 on TLC.
“It takes a special individual to thrive in Alaska,” TLC President Eileen O’Neill said Aug. 6, 2010 in announcing the news.
The series will follow Palin as she explores the rugged natural beauty of Alaska by hiking on a glacier, salmon fishing and going on bear sightings.
Fellow TLC reality star Kate Gosselin will also make a guest appearance on Sarah's show, and the ladies and their kids will go camping together.
"[The Palins] graciously shared their Alaska with the Gosselin family," confirmed TLC President O'Neill.
On July 20, the Kate and her kids visited the Alaska Zoo, where they checked out a petting zoo, a polar bear exhibit and observed a wolf pack.
SARAH AND KATE ARE BOTH AVID RUNNERS
Palin, 46, and Gosselin, 35, have more in common than people may realize. In addition to being among America's most polarizing moms, both have large families (Sarah is the mother of 5 children, while Kate has 8) and are fitness fanatics who run to stay in shape.
"Running is my sanity," Sarah has said. Palin routinely ran 7 to 10 miles almost every day but switched to aerobics classes when she became pregnant with her fifth child, Trig (who was born in 2008). After his birth, Palin worked her way back up to running three miles every other day.
Kate, who's now skinner than ever, credits running for keeping her mentally and physically sharp. "I run to get away," she says. "I enjoy the pain and accomplishment of running five miles up and down hills each day."
Sarah Palin was the governor of Alaska from 2006 until she resigned in 2009. She has recently stated that she would consider running for president in 2012, but had not yet made up her mind. Palin will reportedly earn over $1 million per episode of her reality show, which is being produced by Mark Burnett (who created Survivor and Celebrity Apprentice).

They won't be on my tv..I figured out how to save the economy! Have the government run a show on tlc and pay them what these two make. We should be out of debt in no time! Both shows coming up should be interesting. Not curious enough to check it out nor do I care to help out with the madness! I really hope that only the fans will watch because negative publicity still gives ratings, actually adds to it. Someday, all critical viewers may realize this.
