Former Governor Sarah Palin appeared on the Conan O'Brien Show in a skit with William Shatner. The skit featured Shatner, repleat with late 50's early 60's beatnik drummers as background to Shatner's dramatic reading of exerpts of Palin's book, "Going Rogue". O'Brien snapped his fingers in approval as was the custom of the hip crowd that frequented the beatnik coffee houses of the time.
Palin then returned the favor with a parody of her own by reading excerpts of Shatner's autobiography. Gotta admit, pretty good. However, obviously not a situation where Sarah Palin just walked on stage and interrupted the O'Brien show.
What was interesting was Palin's poise and ease during her part. Sarah Palin is becoming quite the actor . . . but then, those of us who knew the Palin of the gubernatorial campaign versus what she became while governor would find that old news.

Comments
Palin received the highest applause level on the show.
She is a star, no matter what the spin is by the Obama loyalists.
