The Tea Party arrived in the Boston Wednesday and Sarah Palin was the headlining speaker. Palin’s 22-minute speech met the cheering Tea Party crowd that has travelled across the US over the past few weeks. Thousands of Tea Party activists appeared across the harbor from where the original Boston Tea Party was held over 200 years ago.

"Let me ask you, Massachusetts: Do you love your freedom?" Palin yelled to the crowd. "Bostonians have never been afraid to stand up and speak out about the principals they believed in."

"Shoot, look at what you did in January, you shook up the United States Senate."

Palin, 46, was referring to Senator Scott Brown who was voted in a surprise election to replace Ted Kennedy’s senate seat. Brown said earlier that he would not be attending the Tea Party events while they were in Boston.

During her speech, Palin made several comments about President Obama and Democrats in general.
"The people in Boston, and all across the U.S.," Palin said, "we're sending a message to Washington that, come November, that big government, big debt, Obama/Pelosi/Reid spending-spree. That 'there there, little children, we're here to take care of you;' that agenda is over. We're voting them out."

"We believe in expanding freedom and opportunity for all, not the intrusive reach of government into our lives and businesses," she said.

An estimated crowd of 3,000 - 5,000 people attended the Boston Tea Party Wednesday.  Palin is becoming a Tea Party favorite and spoke at the Las Vegas Tea Party event a few weeks ago.

Yesterday, a story broke about a Palin contract that students at California State University found in the trash, and was made public. Sarah Palin will speak at the school in June. The contract included several luxury requests made by Palin, and now an investigation has been opened as a result at the university. For more on that story, click here.

Sarah Palin was governor of Alaska from 2006 until she stepped down in 2009. Since the 2008 presidential election, Palin released the book, “Going Rogue: An American Life” that speaks about American values.

Palin has also been hired as a commentator on Fox News. Palin made an appearance in Salt Lake City, Utah in December for a book signing to promote her book. Salt Lake City is one of three US cities currently under review to have the 2012 GOP conference.

See the video below for several clips of Palin’s speech at the Boston Tea Party.

It's a good thing the Tea Party formed! Sarah has a new crowd every couple days to preach her anti-Obama mantra to, and they needed a queen to preside over them, someone pleasing to look at who had the ability to both feed and assuage their anger. She gets to travel, they get to adore her in person, and everybody wins. Except those horrible, no good, terrible, un-American, elitist pro-Obama people who ya know are tryin' to do their hopey-changey thing with socialist-progressive-liberal ideas like stimulating the economy so people can have jobs and keep their houses or like trying to make sure they have some health care... The nerve of those Obama people! Things were SOOO much better during the last eight Republican years, weren't they? Nobody was jobless, nobody lost their homes to foreclosure, everybody had great health care coverage. Things were doing soooo well, Wall street was making billions and everyone was soooo happy!
