Sarah Palin ignites CPAC with keynote address (Video)

Sarah Palin was the keynote speaker at the CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) on Saturday, and she proved that she still knows how to capture a crowd who mirrors her enthusiasm for political talk. The former GOP vice presidential candidate and former Alaska governor had some pretty harsh words for President Barack Obama, the Democratic Party, and even the “GOP beltway boys” of her own Republican Party, according to a Fox News report on Saturday.

CPAC 2014 Straw Poll Results

Ben Carson says Gays “Don’t Get Extra Rights” – at CPAC 2014

For starters, she came out swinging at President Barack Obama’s healthcare initiative – the Affordable Care Act – by saying, “ObamaCare suckers – you are the ones paying the bill in this brave new world!” She spoke favorably of Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz’s attempts at defunding Obama care.

She strongly encouraged her audience not to support the old guard in the Republican Party because, she believes they, too, are to blame for many of the current problems in the United States – not just the Democratic Party.

At the end of CPAC, the Straw Poll results were released, and Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky was the winner – by far – receiving 31 percent of the vote in a field of 25 candidates.
