Sarah Palin and her memoirs booked for a Dallas area appearance

"Total fiction." That's what former Republican presidential candidate John McCain has to say about the memoirs of his former vice presidential running mate Sarah Palin. The title of her book, "Going Rogue:  An American Life," is fitting for a public figure known for the unexpected.

Palin launched her new book tour on the Oprah Winfrey Show last week and blames her campaign problems on her post-partum depression. In her memoirs, Palin also questions controversial decisions like her interview with Katie Couric (see video below). McCain's camp says the book is full of lies.

"Going Rogue..." releases Tuesday, Nov. 17 nationwide, just four months after the book deal was announced. The book's first printing of 1.5 million copies has the muscle of HarperCollines behind it. You can see Palin in person on December 4 at the Legacy Books location in Plano, Texas, at 7300 Dallas Parkway.

Will you be there? What do you think of John McCain's allegations that Sarah Palin has concocted a bookful of falacies? Tell us in the comments below.

I don't know what to think of her anymore. When she walked out on stage the first time and gave her speech..this Hillary supporter was madly impressed and glad that a female would actually get a shot at the White House. Since then, it is clear that she is not what she seemed. I don't believe everything I read, see on tv or hear..(I'm Gen X afterall), but ugh! If I could have a sitdown convo with her, I could give you a clearer opinion..so maybe I can make it to the book signing!
